The Vision
Why “Humble Tech”?
Ever taken a walk down the street, turned on a tech podcast to learn and get inspired, and ended up feeling overwhelmed, questioning your position in tech and feeling like you are behind?
Humble Tech was created to bring relatable, humble tech stories closer to you, shared by people who just kept going, even when they weren’t sure why. These are stories that feel light, yet leave listeners thinking, “Maybe I can do this, too.”
“Not every tech story starts with a big idea. Most start with someone who just kept showing up.”
Technology can feel intimidating, and the hype and noise are real. It’s easy to feel like everyone else is ahead. Each conversation opens a window into a journey most people never talk about. No buzzwords, and definitely no pressure to be extraordinary.

Meet the Host
Sowmiya Ravikumar
There’s something about building a life in a new place that sharpens your perspective: people, their stories, their struggles, and the quiet ways they make sense of the world. I’m Sowmiya, a proud woman, curious about technology, neuroscience and loves spending time with nature and books.
In the tech communities I was part of, I kept hearing real stories from real people finding their way through tech, and they have never failed to move me. That’s when I knew Humble Tech had to exist, because those stories deserve to be heard, and because someone out there needs to hear them.
Next thing that grounds me after gratitude is this quote
கற்றது கைம்மண் அளவு, கல்லாதது உலகளவு
“What you have learned is a handful of sand; what you haven’t learned is the size of the world.”
FROM Thirukkural, Tamil Literature
Come to the podcast with curiosity. Leave with inspiration.
